The matte black base upon which the gnarly teak roots are mounted is approximately 31 and one-half inches wide, 7 and three-quarters inches deep, and 1 and one-quarter inches thick. The rectangular box cotton shade has the same width and depth dimensions as the base and is 9 and three-quarter inches tall. The distance to the top of the shade from the bottom of the base is about 20 and one-quarter inches. The fixture is designed for a single bulb and is controlled by means of a rocker switch on the cord of the lamp.
